Facilitate a room of 48 workshop attendees to obtain individual stakeholder input that can be appropriately incorporated into future Biomedical Advanced Research & Development Authority (BARDA) strategic efforts.

PRESIDENT’S BOARD OF ADVISORS ON TRIBAL COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES (PBATCU)
Design and conduct a one-day session for a sub-committee of Board members to develop an action plan for the remaining term of the Board.

TRANSPORTATION DEMAND MANAGEMENT (TDM) SOFTWARE SYSTEM SESSION
Design and conduct a one-day session for 25 users of the web-based TDM web site for Commuter Connections / Ride Sharing services in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.  This session featured the roll-out of the newly designed web site for jurisdictional coordinators of the services and requested their feedback and suggestions on the design, functionality and features.

“ORGANIZED CRIME:  A THREAT TO THE CARIBBEAN” SEMINAR
Lead two of four groups of regional and international experts to exchange experiences on the issues of and problems affecting the Caribbean in terms of drug trafficking (including money laundering), firearms trafficking, trafficking in persons, and gangs.  The outcomes of the working group dialogues will subsequently be crafted by the OAS General Secretariat into four unique work plans for combating organized crime in the Caribbean.

BUSINESS PROCESS REENGINEERING WITH CUSTOMS & BORDER PROTECTION (CBP)
Conduct Office of Finance business process “as is” workshops, facilitating the documentation of financial operation processes including accounts payable (vendor pay, employee reimbursement); audit oversight (audit coordination/tracking, internal control assurance statement, President’s Management Agenda submission); collections and refunds (budget clearing account, automated clearinghouse debit & credit, cashiers); debt management (bonds, debt collection); financial policy (delegation of authority); financial reporting & analysis (payroll reconciliation, inter-governmental payment & collection (IPAC)); payroll; and program development.  Document the processes down to the procedure level including narrative and graphical depictions using AllClear software.
